Yes! Homework is a good thing for EVERYONE! Homework teaches people very important life skills. I'm going to tell you about only three of those many reasons why we should have homework. Those three reasons are responsibility, time management, and priorities.
Homework teaches people responsibility. Most people have many excuses for not doing homework like, "I didn't learn this in class!", or, "I don't remember this!" Well, first of all, it's your fault for not listening in class, and if you have trouble remembering class, then take notes! Another excuse people often make is that they don't have enough help, but really there's lots of help from teachers and parents. As you can see, people can learn a lot about responsibility from homework.
Homework can also teach you time management. When you get older and become more of an adult, you need money, so you need to get a job (unless you have a lot of money, of course)! To get a job, and keep it, you need time management and efficiency. Even when you're not quite an adult yet, you need time management and efficiency to be able to do the things you love to do!
Lastly, homework can help you acquire priorities for a happy life! When you do homework, you're basically doing everything you need to do to have a good adult life (metaphorically speaking). You can learn that it's better to get a job, buy a house (or rent), and set a good starting point for a bright future! If you do that, instead of partying, drinking, and not make a great starting point for your future, you have learned priorities that will help you to become a very successful citizen! Homework is one of the best things to teach you about time management.
Now that I've told you about all the things that homework can teach you, aren't you going to start loving it? Well, you should! Whether for school or for you're job, homework is very important for everyone to have! It teaches you responsibility, time management, and priorities. Homework is very important because it will teach me, and everyone else who does it, very important and helpful life skills!
